About Me
Hi! I’m Oswin Colley—a freshman at the University of Alabama, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sports Media and a Master’s in Journalism through the university’s accelerated program.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked across tech, media, and design as a technical director, social media manager, graphic designer, and sports photographer. I fell in love with storytelling during high school, where I spent my time as a senior intern for my school’s news program, a technical director for the school system, and an AHSAA photographer for 7A football. In my senior year, I was honored to be named Alabama Journalist of the Year by the Alabama Scholastic Press Association—an award that solidified my commitment to trustworthy, ethical storytelling.
Right now, I’m building my portfolio in collegiate sports as a staff photographer for The Crimson White, aiming to pursue a career as a professional sports photographer.

At the core of my work is a simple belief: Good. Stories. Matter. Whether I’m behind a camera, in front of a mic, or in an editing suite, I aim to tell stories that are clear and grounded in truth. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to have their story told, and I hope that my work will give others that chance.
