About Me
Hi! I’m Oswin Colley—a sophomore at the University of Alabama simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sports Media and a Master’s in Journalism through the university’s accelerated program.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked across tech, media, and design as a technical director, social media manager, graphic designer, and sports photographer. I fell in love with storytelling during high school, where I spent my time as a senior intern for my school’s news program, a technical director for the school system, and an AHSAA photographer for 7A football. In my senior year, I was honored to be named Alabama Journalist of the Year by the Alabama Scholastic Press Association, which solidified my commitment to trustworthy and compelling storytelling.
Right now, I’m building my portfolio in collegiate sports and photojournalism as a staff photographer for The Crimson White, aiming to pursue a career as a professional sports photographer or political photojournalist.

Whether I’m behind a camera, in front of a mic, or editing well past midnight, I aim to tell stories that are inspiring and grounded in truth. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to have their story told, and I hope that my work will give others that chance.
